Roll Me Back

(9/26/05)
Roll me back in time she sings,
Oh but won't you.
Don't need to be no fly on the wall,
A tumbleweed works just fine for me.
Your breeze washing over me,
To be in your atmosphere,
Smell so sweet
And feel glassed to the touch.
To be by the glow from your eye
Oh what I wouldn't.
...A rain maker in the desert she dances on,
Oh but it couldn't be any more true.
Roll me up.
Let a few twigs brake off.
I'm ready just give me the lift,
And roll me back in time.

Longing

(9/23/05)
I want it to rain.
I want the fade to be kept vibrant,
To be taken back,
Or there but forward in time at least.
But it’s not,
The sun shines on,
And keeps going.
But then again
You’re there
In the longing,
To be back with you again.

Wind

“Beautiful Wind”
(9/23/05)
Beautiful Wind,
Take me with
To your peaceful presence,
Following at your side again
Beautiful Wind
Take me with
You

“Running Away With The Wind”

(9/23/05)
I can feel you there
I can feel you walk by
But I’m not seeing you
Guess it’s just my mind
Running away with the wind again

Wonder What You Say

(9/19/05)
When someone inquires,
When someone notices and asks,
Wonder what you say
And wonder
What you're really thinking about inside.

Wonder what you say.

Tumbling

(9/20/05)
Stumbling through the day,
I'm ready to burn.
But a roll of thunder cracks,
And I'm smiling
As rain sprinkles down
Your warmth drizzles.
I can almost see you.
I can almost reach you.
A chill tingling in me –
Tumbling,
Tumbling,
Down.
Closer to me, I'm closer to you.
Don’t ever stop raining.

Keeping The Fade Vibrante

(9/18/05)
Keeping the fade vibrante,
You pop in for a short visit.
Be it two minutes or a few days,
I smile and the tears grow stonger.
Putting the first moment aside,
I couldn't be happier.
The longging's still there,
The emotion's still flooding.
Different, yes,
But the fade's kept alive,
Even as you leave,
And I'm left to holding on
To the fading memories,
Until life decideds on
Keeping the fade, vibrante again.

Holding On

(9/11/05)
You're memory's there.
It always is.
I'm holding on,
Hard as I can.
But is all the pressure
Pushing it away?
I'm holding on,
Hard as I can.

I'm here.
Here,
Missing You.

Drizzling

(9/1/05)
You're all somewhere standing where I can't see
I'm on the other side lost between the drops
I can smell the lavender mixed with the damp
The water clinging as my hand runs along the stone
That I don't feel
I'm reaching, won't you reach back
You're the only end to
This drizzling rain
